Bagasje eller poncho
- From 2021 the baggage handling was different from what it used to be, when you had to select if you wanted to check baggage from the start or receive a poncho after the finish.
- Everyone receives a warm poncho after finishing.
- An optional pre-raceday bag check has replaced traditional race-day bag check. You select if you want the pre-raceday bag cehck in your NYRR Dashboard. If you select to check a bag, you must do it at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park on Friday or Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and retrieve it in the post-finish area on race day after you finish.
- All finishers will exit the park at 77th st.

- The red line is the last 2.3 miles of the Marathon course.
- The green line is the walk to get out of the park.
- The Blue, striped, area is the runners-only area. Only runners are allowed there.
